This trip follows just a week after the British ambassador to the US was dismissed over his association with the convicted sex offender.

Early on Wednesday, a vehicle was spotted in Windsor showing an picture of the two figures along with the text: "Welcome to the UK, Donald."

Police Presence and Demonstration Plans

An extensive security detail has been deployed throughout Windsor, with over a thousand personnel tasked to monitor events in the capital amid expected demonstrations by protest organizers.

At the same time, the president and his wife will attend lunch with representatives of the royal household, pay respects the tomb of the late queen, and deliver a address at a state banquet.

Demonstrators gathered in the town prior to the visit, highlighting the controversial nature of the trip.
